risdPRINTS

    risdPRINTS is a pay for print system which exists in all labs, studios and classrooms. The goals of this print accounting program are to reduce paper and toner waste, increase accountability, and provide better quality and accessibility of printing throughout the campus. In order to print to or use a risdPRINTS devices, the student, faculty, or staff must pay for the print or device usage with risdbucks or departmental funds.

mobilePRINTS

     mobilePRINTS, mobileprints.risd.edu, is the web interface for risdPRINTS. Students, faculty, and staff printing to a risdPRINTS device will use mobilePRINTS to pay for and release their print jobs. mobilePRINTS also allows users to upload print jobs of common file types from their mobile devices (laptop, phone, and tablet) to any of the risdPRINTS printers across campus.

RISD Print Smart

    RISD Print Smart program is geared toward Administrative printing on campus that centrally manages and funds Xerox multifunction print/copy/scan/fax (MFD) devices and provides all service and maintenance for RISD campus Xerox MFDs and all networked LaserJet printers.

    Departments do not directly purchase toner or pay for MFD and networked LaserJet printer service. Instead, each department pays a competitive fee for each page printed or copied that covers all device service needs, including toner replacement (which will be shipped automatically when a device is running low.)
