Connecting to RISD-Wifi (Mac OS X)

NOTE: ITS encourages faculty, staff, and students to connect to the Eduroam wireless network. PreCollege Students will continue to use RISD-WiFi.

Connecting to RISD-WiFi for Mac OS 13 or higher

Click the Wi-Fi icon to view available wireless networks.
Select RISD-WiFi.

Note: If RISD-WiFi does not appear in the list of networks, click on Other Networks.

Enter your RISD Account user name and password and click OK.
From the Verify Certificate window, click Continue.
Enter your computer user name and password.
Click Update Settings.

You should now be connected to RISD-WiFi. If you are prompted to enter your credentials once more, please check to see if you have entered your password correctly.
