IMPORTANT UPDATE: ITS recommends connecting to the Eduroam wireless network.

PreCollege Students will continue to use RISD-WiFi.

These instructions were written for Android version 11.0, other versions may be slightly different.

1. Go to your Settings menu on your Android.
2. Scroll to the top and select Network & internet.
3. Make sure that Wi-Fi selection is checked.
4. Under Wi-Fi networks you will see a list of available networks. Select RISD-WiFi.
   
   
5. In the pull-down menu of EAP Method, select PEAP.
6. In the pull-down menu of Phase 2 authentication, select MSCHAPV2.
7. In the pull-down menu of CA certificate, select Use System Certificates.
8. In the pull-down menu of Online Certificate Status, select Do not validate.
9. In the Domain field, type in risd.edu
10. In the Identity field, enter your RISD account username (e.g. jdoe).
11. Leave the Anonymous identity field blank.
12. In the Password field, enter your RISD account password.
13. Select Connect.

You are now connected to RISD-WIFI
