Campus Computer Labs

Most computer labs are dedicated for classroom use or for specific department use. Computers are directly connected to the RISD network and have RISD's supported software installed.
Several Academic Departments host their own computer labs. For information please reach out to their academic computer specialists.
IT Labs
The following labs are managed by IT Services and have some open time for student use. Contact the IT Service Desk (servicedesk@risd.edu) with questions or concerns.
- 024 Lab | Location: 20 Washington Place Rm 024 (basement) | Current Schedule
- 026 Lab | Location: 20 Washington Place Rm 026 (basement)
Note: Both IT Labs — have high-end Mac workstations — with installed software including the Adobe CC Suite, Microsoft office, Rhino, Maya and many others.
Printing
All public/lab printers on campus use a pay for print system called risdPRINTS. Some computer labs have printing available in the lab however, most printing and plotting is done through the Print Output centers.
Hardware or Software issues
Please report malfunctioning hardware or software in labs to the lab monitor on duty. If no one is present, contact the IT Service Desk.
