Q: Why can't I connect my Android device to the Google Play store with my RISD account?
A: RISD Accounts are not compatible with the Google Play store. To get around this, you will need to switch to a non-risd Google account (e.g. jdoe@gmail.com) before downloading the app. Follow the instructions below to switch accounts in a Google Play app:

  1. Open the Google Play store.
  2. Tap your RISD Google account profile on the top right.
  3. Look for the name and email address of the account you're using at the top of the screen.
  4. Tap the Down arrow.
  5. Tap the account you want to use.

Q: Why do I receive an "Invalid Origin" error when trying to use Campus Map on my computer's Chrome browser?
A: Most likely the issue is that your location services are off for the Chrome browser. Follow the instructions below to enable:

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. On the top right, click the Chrome menu icon (three vertical dots).
  3. Click Settings 
  4. In the "Security and Privacy" section, click "Site Settings".
  5. In the dialog that appears, click "Location".
  6. Be sure the option to "Sites can ask for your location" is ON.
