Hypothesis: Creating An Annotated Resource From A Web Page Or PDF URL
Step 1: Create a new item in a course module

Step 2: In the dropdown list select "External tool" and then "Hypothesis."

Step 3. Click on "Enter URL of web page or PDF".

Step 4. Enter URL and click "Submit."

Step 5: Click "Continue."
* Note that the resource is referred to as "Assignment content." To create an actual annotation-based assignment you need to use the "Assignments" section in Canvas. See more in "Creating Annotation Assignments."

Step 6: Enter a name for your resource and click "Add item."

Your annotated resource is now added as an item in your course module. Course participants can start annotating the resource.
