Turn off Chrome Sign-in

When using Google Chrome to sign-in to RISD Gmail, you may be prompted with the following message.

You may check off "Keep local browsing data" and click continue to open Gmail.

You will receive this message every time you sign-in into your RISD Gmail or you may turn off the Google Chrome sign-in feature.

To turn off Chome sign-in, click on the verticle dots in the upper right corner of your Chrome browser and select Settings.

Click on Sync and Google services.

Click on the slide bar to turn off "Allow Chrome sign in"

In the lower left corner, you should be prompted to apply changes by clicking relaunch.

Relaunch.

Note: If you have muliple profiles, be sure to name the RISD profile accordingly and apply this setting to that profile.
