Apply or Remove Student Holds

Description

Apply and remove holds from the student’s record.


To Apply a Hold


  1. Type Apply Student Hold into the search box and click the resulting task;  enter the student’s name OR Click Actions under the student’s photo on their profile page, hover over Holds, and click Apply Hold



  1. Choose a Hold Reason from the drop down box

  1. Confirm the Hold Type that auto-populates

  1. You may enter comments if you wish

  2. Click Submit


To Remove a Hold


  1. Navigate to the student’s profile by clicking on their name on a roster or by entering their name in the search bar


  1. On the left menu, click Action Items and Holds



  1. Click on Active Holds


  1. Hover next to the magnifying glass on the hold you wish to remove. Click on the Related Actions button, hover over Holds, and select the action you wish to take. To remove, click Remove Hold, click the Confirm box, and click Submit
