What happens to my RISD account when I withdraw from RISD?

Your RISD account provides access to RISD Gmail, Google Drive, and other institutionally licensed software and services (including but not limited to Zoom, Canvas, Adobe, and other department specific software).

Your RISD account will be disabled on the evening of your official date of withdrawal. Students are responsible for backing up any data from the various services prior to this date. It is not permissible to request access to your information after account is disabled.

Restoring access to a risd.edu account after the official withdrawal date would create a security and compliance risk for the RISD network and the expectations of data security for our community.
