Setting up Multifactor Authentication for Third Party Users in Workday

To view your student’s information on the Workday system, you must use multifactor authentication to
login. Multifactor authentication introduces a second security step to access Workday. This second step
is a verification code that will be sent directly to your email address on record in Workday.
Requirement:
- Third Party must have an email address in Workday
Setting up Multifactor Authentication for Third Party Instructions
Instructions:
- Visit Workday https://wd5.myworkday.com/risd
- Select Parent/Authorized User Login
- Click Set Up Now
- Click Send to Email to set up the email authentication.
- Go to your email and retrieve the login verification code.
- Enter the verification code on the login screen and click the Continue button.
- Upon successful verification, you will see the Success! Message. Click Done to continue to login.
