Create a New Course or Edit a Course on Coursedog
CREATE NEW COURSE
Curriculum Management allows users to propose edits to courses, course sections and programs through electronic forms that route through workflows for approval.
You can propose a new course in two ways.
From the Curriculum Homepage
Click + New Proposal from the Curriculum homepage and then select Add New Course from the drop down menu.

From the Courses Page
Navigate to the Courses tab on the left-hand side of your screen. Select +Propose New Course.

Fill out all Coursedog required fields then Submit Proposal on the right-hand toolbar under Actions.
Select the offering department from the drop down menu.

All changes to your proposal will auto-save; if you need to navigate away from the page before you submit your proposal – and need to access your draft later – you can find that at Curriculum > Drafts.
EDIT AN EXISTING COURSE
Submit the Edit Course form to modify a course and its future section offerings. This form is also used to submit expired trial courses to the Curriculum Committee for review and approval.
Note: For a one-time change limited to a specific semester or term, use the Edit Course Section form.
From the Curriculum Homepage
Click + New Proposal (under Actions) then select Modify an Existing Course from the drop down menu.

Enter the subject, course number or title to find the course. Select the Course from the drop down menu. Click Go to Form.
From the Course Page
You can propose edits to a course using the Course option on the left-hand navigation.

Use the search bar to find and open the course. Enter the subject, course number, or a portion of the title to find the course.

Select Propose Changes on the right-hand toolbar under Actions.

-
From the dropdown menu, select the Edit Course form. Click Submit.

-
Edit only the course characteristics that you wish to update/edit. Leave the others as is!
Note: If changes need to be applied to sections currently being offered, please make a note in the Additional Comments section.
