Add, Edit, or Cancel a Course Section on Coursedog
REVISE SECTION LISTINGS
Use the Section Revision Form to add, update, or cancel course sections for a specific term. This guide walks you through accessing the form and completing each section correctly.
Step 1: Access the Form
You can submit section updates in two ways:
From the Curriculum Homepage
Click + New Proposal from the Curriculum homepage.
From the dropdown menu, select Revise a Section (Add/Edit/Cancel).
Click GO TO FORM.
From Campus
Navigate to the Campus tab on the left-hand side of your screen.
Select the Course Section Edits document type.
Click + Propose New Document at the top of the screen.
From the dropdown menu, select Section Revision Form and submit.
Step 2: Select Your Request
From the dropdown menu in the form, choose the type of request:
Add Section - create new section offerings (up to 3 at a time) and make any necessary updates
Update Section ā update information for existing section(s) for the listed term
Cancel Section ā remove a section; can be combined with adding a replacement
Step 3: Complete the Appropriate Card

Edit Section card
Use this card to update section information for the listed term.
Changes here do not affect future offerings.
Reminder: To make permanent changes, also submit the Edit Course form.
Cancel Section card
Use this card to cancel a section.
Important for replacements: If you are replacing a section with another, select Yes at the end of the card to open the Add Section card and submit the replacement.
Step 4: Submit the Form
Double-check your entries before submitting.
Click Submit Proposal at the top of the form.
Only changes for the term/section(s) listed will be applied.
