Overview 

RISD provides an opportunity for faculty, staff and students to optionally record how to pronounce their name.

Record your name 

1. In the Search, enter Change My Name Pronunciation. Students may alternatively go to menu > Academics and in the Resources Box select Change My Name Pronunciation.

2. Your internet browser may need request access to your microphone. Allow so you can record your name.
   

3. Click the microphone to start recording. Click the stop button when done.
   

4. Optionally, type in a phonetic pronunciation.

5. Click Submit.

Delete your recording

1. In the Search, enter Change My Name Pronunciation. Students may alternatively go to menu > Academics and in the Resources Box select Change My Name Pronunciation.

2. Click the garbage can and confirm.
   

3. Click Submit.
