For Advisors: View midterm (interim) grades
View midterm (interim) grades
To support academic advising and student success, faculty advisors can view the midterm (interim) grades and narratives for their advisees. Midterm grades are meant to help students understand their academic standing in a course. Not all instructors assign midterm grades or narratives.
Midterm grades are not part of the student's permanent record nor do they affect the student's GPA.
Faculty advisors can see these grades in Workday.
Video How To
Remove a Hold
Log in to Workday.
Go to Menu > Teaching and Advising > Academic Advising Dashboard. Under Academic Advising Dashboard Reports select My Advisees. (This list of advisees has a column that shows if the student has an advising hold.)
Under Academic Advising Dashboard Reports click My Advisees’ Interim (Midterm) Grades.

Select a semester or type it in. For example, you can type in Spring 2025.

Click OK.
All your advisees’ classes appear, even classes without grades or narratives. You may need to scroll to the right to see the grades and narratives.
