RISD Mobile App
What is it?
RISD’s mobile app is designed to help students, staff, faculty, and visitors navigate RISD on the go. The app provides easy access to the RISD Rides shuttle, dining menus, printing resources, maps, risdbucks and other campus services.

How to get it
Download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store* to load it on your device.
*Attention Android Users - If your Android phone is linked with your RISD email address you will have trouble accessing the Google Play Store. To get around this, see Mobile App Troubleshooting.
Getting started
Experiences provide relevant information based on your associated group (e.g. students, faculty, staff, and visitors). When first visiting the app, you will be prompted to choose your experience.
Once you've selected an experience, you can return to this screen and switch experiences via the person icon on the top right corner.
Currently there are three experiences:
Students includes content, features and links targeted to the experience of enrolled degree program students. Authentication with your RISD username and password is required to access certain screens and modules.
Faculty and Staffincludes content, features and links targeted to the experiences of RISD employees. Authentication with your RISD username and password is required to access certain screens and modules.
Visitors and Guests includes general content, features and links that a visitor can reference to navigate RISD.
(PLEASE NOTE: The app is being redesigned in the new RISD digital design system. The Students experience has been completed as of September 2024 and all other experiences will be updated over Fall semester.)
