Continuing Student Onboarding in Workday

Each year, RISD students are required to complete tasks in Workday to ensure the institution has information to contact you in an emergency, bill and provide payments.

We recommend you use a computer to complete these tasks.

You will be unable to register until you complete all tasks. Once you complete all tasks, the hold is automatically removed.

To access these tasks

Log in to Workday.
Click the inbox.
Complete each task.

Students may see all or some of the below tasks depending on their financial aid and citizenship status.

Review Friends and Family and Set Emergency Contact. Directions.
Federal Student Aid Authorization. Allows students to apply federal financial aid to non-financial aid eligible expenses.
Financial Agreement. Agree to RISD's tuition and billing.
FERPA Notice. Acknowledge RISD's student privacy practices.
Review Home Contact Information. Ensure we have updated contact information.
