Find student academic profile in Workday

Student academic records are stored in Workday and visible to academic advisors and select staff.

If you're an advisor, you can find a list of your advisees in Workday and click a name to go to their academic record. Alternatively, you can search for a specific student.

If you're not an advisor, you'll generally search for a student by name or ID number.

When you search for a student, you need to ensure you go to their student profile - not their employee profile.

Log in to Workday.
In Search enter the student's name or ID number. You don't need to enter a full name, just the first few letters.
Do not select the result that automatically appears. This brings you to the student's employee profile. Instead on your keyboard press enter.
Click the student's name that appears under Student not the one under People. If you don't see a Student category, you likely need to configure your search to show students.
Use the options on the left to see information about the student. Most academic data is accessed by clicking Academics.
