New Student Onboarding in Workday

Students new to RISD are required to complete tasks in Workday to ensure the institution has information to contact you in an emergency, bill and provide payments.

We recommend you use a computer to complete these tasks.

To access these tasks

Log in to Workday.
Click the inbox.
Complete each task.

Students may see all or some of the below tasks depending on their financial aid and citizenship status.

Review Friends and Family and Set Emergency Contact. Directions.
Federal Student Aid Authorization. Allows students to apply federal financial aid to non-financial aid eligible expenses.
Financial Agreement. Agree to RISD's tuition and billing.
FERPA Notice. Acknowledge RISD's student privacy practices.
Direct Deposit. Set where excess funds or student employment pay is deposited. Directions.
Review Home Contact Information. Ensure we have updated contact information.
Third Party Permissions. Allow others access to your information. Directions.
